About
The person behind the camera
Hey, I'm Elena!
I picked up a camera for the first time at 16 — borrowed my mom's old Canon to shoot my best friend's backyard birthday party. Every frame was overexposed and slightly out of focus, and I was absolutely hooked.
Fast forward 12 years, and I've had the privilege of documenting over 200 weddings, elopements, and love stories across Colorado and beyond. I've stood in freezing creeks at 5am for sunrise elopements, danced at midnight under sparkler send-offs, and cried at more ceremonies than I'll ever admit.
My approach is simple: I show up, I blend in, and I pay attention. The best photos happen when you forget I'm there — the stolen glances, the belly laughs, the quiet moments between the big ones. That's the real stuff, and that's what I'm after.
When I'm not behind a camera, you'll find me hiking fourteeners with my golden retriever Biscuit, hunting down Denver's best oat milk cortado, or knee-deep in a home renovation project that's way over my head.
